  Farmers Congress 2016  

At least 300 farmers belonging to various farmers and irrigators associations in Pastrana, Leyte came together on 13 August 2016, to hold their first general congress in this municipality.​​

Led by ONEVisayas, the farmer’s conference focused on agriculture reform initiatives together with the Department of Agriculture, Congressman Henry Ong (2nd District, Leyte), the Local Government of Pastrana, the National Irrigation Administration, and Philippine Coconut Authority.

Livelihood Intervention Program

ONEVisayas founding chair Frank Villablanca presents a P14 Million project proposal before the Department of Agriculture.​
The project is a livelihood intervention program for poor farmers in Pastrana, the poorest town in the 2nd District of Leyte.

A new farmers association in Cabaohan

ONEVisayas organised a farmer’s association in Barangay Cabaohan so that subsistence farmers here could be represented to get farming inputs and livelihood interventions.
The Community Harvest through Agriculture and New Commercial Enterprise (CHANCE) Farmer’s Association was established in this  interior rural area, with the intention of giving these marginalised farmers unprecedented access to several livelihood interventions from varied sources including the national government.

Symposium on Drug Abuse Prevention and Control

Permanent volunteer Dennis Heruela coaches 72 former illegal drug dependents who wants to see themselves transform to become better.

The event was organised in partnership with Pastrana LGU, TESDA, PNP, DOH-TRC and just one of the many projects we have this year, aimed at younger members of the community. Our special thanks goes to Pastrana mayor Alvin Opiniano, for making this social development work happen.

Construction of the ONEVisayas Headquarters
and its Integrated Technical Farm in  Cabaohan
